Drew loves all types of food, but surf and turf dishes are his favorite. He recognized there wasn’t a sauce he could use to flavor seafood and meat, so he created one!
When family and friends are invited over, they are excited when Unkle Drew is serving his ginger sauce, whatever the dish! It turns simple into magical!

Meet Brighton.
As an Entrepreneurship major at WSU, Brighton Maughan, was challenged through a class assignment to compete in the prestigious Herbert B. Jones 2021 WSU Business Plan Competition. Brighton's business plan involved bottling and selling a ginger sauce recipe created by his dad, Drew Maughan, aka "Unkle Drew". Brighton's team WON the grand prize and the prize money allowed them to launch Unkle Drew'z Sauces! They immediately began selling Unkle Drew'z Original Ginger Sauce from their online shop at unkledrewzsauces.com. Since then, they have expanded their product line to include Unkle Drew'z Spicy and Less-Sodium Ginger Sauces. All three varieties are currently available on the shelves of five food-specialty shops in the Seattle area and on Amazon.
Brighton graduated from Washington State University, Carson School of Business in May 2022.
